Wire tie for composite wall - has square butterfly plan form with local angular peaks locating W-shaped clips securing insulating panels

The tie is of stainless steel wire in an approx. rectangular close loop. In a concrete wall with a cavity and an internal leaf of insulating slabs, one half of the tie is embedded in the concrete, the other half projecting to accommodate connectors which penetrate insulating slabe edges. The tie may be some 260mm x 260mm in plan with 'V' shaped indents on two opposed sides, a central wire normal to the major wall plane connecting the two in pairs about each corner. Connectors are 'W' shaped in plan with the outer leg ends cranking to the vertical, and have a vertical slit in each outer leg.
