<p>The flexible tube is placed in its final position when empty and connected to the sand filling machine. The tube is firstly filled with water through an inlet pipe, until it has adopted its final shape - the water is allowed to exhaust through the pipe. The sand is supplied through the hopper and mixes with the water for conveyance into the bag. The speed of the feed water is regulated through valves and a venturi, to allow the sand to settle.</p> |
