The method involves deactivating injection process and closing a pressure control valve during starting requirement in an initial starting condition. An electrical starter is switched off during reaching of predetermined pressure threshold value. The pressure control valve is kept closed after switching off the starter during an extended follow-up time. The initial starting condition is deactivated and the injection process is started during following starting requirement within the follow-up time.
