PURPOSE: An IPTV receiver and a method of changing a channel are provided to receive channel information and use the received information for changing a channel, thereby changing a channel of terrestrial broadcasting while using a channel changing related mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A network interface unit(302) receives a broadcasting stream. A demultiplexer(305) separates audio, video and service information data from the broadcasting stream. A decoder respectively decodes the separated audio data and video data.
