The invention relates to a method for tuning a resonant frequency of a piezoelectric component (1), the latter having a transducer that extends in three spatial directions, the resonant frequency depending on an extension in at least one of the spatial directions and/or on a material-dependent elasticity modulus. The transducer comprises a layered structure with at least two first electrodes (21) and at least one second electrode (22), arranged between the two first electrodes. In said method, a d.c. voltage is applied to at least one of the first two and the at least one second electrode, which leads to a modification of the resonant frequency as a result of a modification to the extension in the one spatial direction and the elasticity modulus. A control voltage with an excitation frequency is applied, said excitation frequency substantially corresponding to the modified resonant frequency. This generates an oscillation of the piezoelectric component. |
