<p>The knob (1) has a cylindrical base with a center axis, where the knob is rotatable around the center axis. A lateral surface (7) of the cylindrical base comprises two recesses (2). Each recess comprises a flat partial surface (4) aligned parallel to the center axis, where the partial surfaces of both the recesses are parallel to each other. The partial surfaces form an actuation surface for rotation of the knob. The recesses comprise a lower transient area (5) via which the partial surfaces pass into the lateral surface of the cylindrical base. An independent claim is also included for a household appliance comprising a knob.</p> |
