The present invention relates to a fender which is designed to diminish the soiling of the rear portions of vehicles, and which comprises two portions extending from the area of the rear portion of the vehicle and forwardly towards the forward portion of the vehicle. Soiling of the rear portions of vehicles, in particular on wet and soiled ways, is a well-known problem. The object of the present invention is to diminish this problem. The fender according to the invention is characterised in that inlet openings are arranged at the ends nearest to the forward portion of the vehicle of portions extending towards the forward portion of the vehicle, and that canals extend from said openings into the fender, said canals opening into outlet openings situated in the area of the rear portion of the vehicle. <IMAGE> |
