A catalytic device (1) comprising a device body (2) that can be inserted axially in a duct (3) that is designed to be crossed by a stream of reagents. The device body forms at least one active surface, which can be struck by the flow of reagents and is affected by a material that is a catalyst for the reaction among the reagents. The device body (2) has, at least partially, a substantially tubular shape. The active surface further has a plurality of corrugations (4).
