Security device for an injection device

The device (11) has a protective sheath (16) driven by a return unit (18), where the device occupies an injection configuration in which the sheath moves from an injection needle (24), and occupies a safety configuration in which the sheath covers the needle. A retractable retaining unit retains the return unit under constrains to maintain the device in the injection configuration. A deactivation unit i.e. protection cap (30), deactivates the retaining unit for allowing the device to occupy a storage configuration in which the retaining unit is not subjected to constraints of the return unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an injection device comprising a reception organ for receiving an implant (2) a method for assembling an injection device.
