PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction in size of water resource equipment and waste water treating equipment by reusing the cooling water having been injected for the rolling mills of the later stages to the rolling mills of the fore stages in the roll coolant device. CONSTITUTION:Rolling material 10 flows from the left to right. If it is assumed that the rolling mills are 5 units, No.1, No.2, No.3, No.4 and No.5 from the inlet side, the clean cooling water supplied from a water source 1 is injected to the later stages of the rolling mills No.4 and No.5 by a pump 11. Rolling mill lubricant is injected to the rolling mills through a pipe 12. The water and rolling mill lubricant thus injected are recovered into a tank 14 by passing through an oil pan 5 and oil return pipe 13. A skimmer 15 is provided in the tank 14 to discharge the floating oil and foul materials. The water of the tank 14 is drawn by a pump 16 and is injected to the fore-stages of the rolling mills No.1, No.2 and No.3. The injection water reused is recovered into a tank 19 through an oil return pipe 18 and is supplied to a waste water treating unit 9. |
