The present invention relates to a hospital bed having workout means, more particularly, to a hospital bed having workout means equipped with driving means to help patients move their legs smoothly, thereby promoting rehabilitation and maintaining/improving health of patients. According to the present invention, a hospital bed having a mattress (11) on the top of a bed frame (10) comprises: a guide bar (23) installed on one side of a lower end having a space (12) formed at a lower central portion of the bed frame (10) in a longitudinal direction; a slider (24) sliding along the guide bar (23) by the aid of a belt (22) which operates as driving means; a rack gear (27) formed on the other side of the lower end having the space (12); a connecting slider (25) having a pinion gear (28) formed inside, with the pinion gear (28) having a shaft hole (26) at the center to rotate in mesh with the rack gear (27), wherein the connecting slider (25) is configured in a manner that one side thereof is guided by the rack gear (27) and the other side thereof is secured to the slider (24), and a lower hinge shaft (34) of a leg workout mechanism (30) including rotatable foot stands (40) installed on the both upper sides is coupled into the shaft hole (26) of the pinion gear (28) installed at a bearing (29) on the inside of the connecting slider (25). |
