COATING COMPOSITION

[PROBLEMS] To provide a coating composition which meets a desire in the market to maintain or recover the beauty of a coating surface through a simpler maintenance operation, and which can be efficiently applied to a coating surface and can retain water repellency and unsusceptibility to fouling over long periods of time. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The composition is characterized by comprising one or more organic solvents, as a base, selected among aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, petroleum solvents, aromatic solvents, alcohols, and fluorinated solvents and further containing, incorporated in the base, (a) a water-curable silicone resin, (b) a reaction accelerator, and (c) a reactive silicone oil having at least one silanol group per molecule.
