<p>The device has a drawing nozzle (6) forming a slot (10). Filaments (5) provided by an upstream spinning device (3) are guided by the drawing nozzle. The drawing nozzle is formed such that a tractive force is applied for drawing the filaments using compressed air. A conducting unit (15) extending over the length of the slot is arranged at a lower side of the drawing nozzle at a side of the slot. The conducting unit is provided with a set of boreholes (16) that connect a region below the slot with environment in a passive manner.</p>
