LACTITOL ESTER EMULSION COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain an emulsion composition of superior stability and emulsifying power which is obtained by mixing hydrophilic lactose fatty acid ester or hydrophilic lactitol fatty acid ester to a specific amount of polyhydric alcohol. CONSTITUTION:0.5-20pts. water-soluble polyhydric alcohol, such as ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, having two or more hydroxyl groups in a molecule is added to 1pt. hydrophilic lactose fatty acid ester or hydrophilic lactitol fatty acid ester of >=9 in HLB and these are mixed to produce a transparent or translucent emulsifier composition. An nonionic active agent such as polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester is further added to this as the 3rd component and further it is also possible to produce a water-in-oil type emulsion by making the compounding to 5-80% the above-mentioned fatty acid ester, 5-95% polyhydric alcohol, and 1-50% nonionic active agent.
