A method, device for storing the data fingerprint and a method for synchronizing the data of a plurality of devices are provided, wherein the method for storing data fingerprint includes: among a plurality of terminals, selecting each of the terminals adopting a uniform fingerprint algorithm and capable of calculating the same data fingerprint with regards to the same data; storing just one set of the data fingerprint derived from the uniform fingerprint for each of the selected terminals. With the above technical scheme, the problem that the server needs to store multiple sets of the data fingerprints when a plurality of devices synchronize with the same database in the server could be solved, therefore, the resulting server process flow could be simplified, and the resource occupancy could be reduced.
