PURPOSE:To improve the position precision of a device without exerting an influence on intervals between charging lines and a photoreceptor, by arranging chargers so that they can separate from the photoreceptor nearly in the normal direction of the photoreceptor individually or simultaneously in plurals. CONSTITUTION:Chargers 14 are so arranged that they can separate from photoreceptor drum 11 nearly in the normal direction of the drum independently or simultaneously with some chargers. For this purpose, those chargers 14 are equipped between side plates 24, which are equipped to frame 17 rotatably on pivol 25. Nearly to pivot 25, spring 26 is arranged and this spring presses side plates 24 toward photoreceptor drum 11; when side plates 24 are separated from photoreceptor drum 11 and moved to the position of recording 24', side plates 24 are held at this position. In this constitution, the intervals between charging lines and photoreceptor are not influenced by the precision of rails, shelding plate, etc., and the position precision is improved. |
