Brewery installation with filtration device and for thermally using wet filtration particles

The plant has a filtration device i.e. slurry filter, for separation of particles i.e. distillers dried grains, from a flavor. A solid combustion device (1) has a base unit (3) and air nozzles (4) for delivering combustion air (5) into a combustion chamber (2) under formation of a stationary air flow zone (6). An inlet (7) conveys the filtration particles in a turbulent air stream of the stationary air flow zone into the chamber. An air-particle-flow-zone is formed by mixing of the filtration particles with the air. The particles are burned by thermal reaction in the air-particle-flow zone. An independent claim is also included for a method for thermal utilization of solid filtration particles.
