GLYCOSYLATED GLP-1 PEPTIDE

Disclosed is a glycosylated GLP-1 peptide having a longer half-life in the blood and preferably a higher activity to reduce the blood glucose level compared to those of GLP-1. Specifically disclosed is a glycosylated GLP-1 peptide having a GLP-1 activity, which is characterized by having the substitution of at least two amino acid residues in the following peptide (a), (b) or (c) by glycosylated amino acid residues: (a) GLP-1; (b) a peptide having the deletion, substitution or addition of one or several amino acid residues in GLP-1; or (c) an analogue of GLP-1.  Also specifically disclosed is a glycosylated GLP-1 peptide having a GLP-1 activity, which has the substitution of at least one amino acid residue in the peptide (a), (b) or (c) by a glycosylated amino acid residue, wherein the sugar chain comprises an oligohyaluronic acid.  In the glycosylated amino acid residue, a sugar chain and an amino acid residue may be linked to each other via a linker.
