The invention relates to catalyst including at least one binder and at least one crystallised material with a hierarchised and organised porosity in terms of microporosity and mesoporosity, said crystallised material including at least two elementary spherical particles, each of said particles including a mesostructured matrix containing silicon oxide and having a mesopore diameter of 1.5 to 30 nm as well as crystallised microporous walls with a thickness of 1 to 60 nm, said elementary spherical particles having a maximum diameter of 200 microns. The catalyst is used in a method for oligomerising an olefin load containing hydrocarbon molecules with 2 to 12 carbon atoms per molecule.
