<p>The head (2) has a connection end (3) for connecting a gas pipe and a nozzle end (4). A nozzle section for escaping gases i.e. acetylene, is formed at the nozzle end. An optical fiber guiding channel (5) extends from the connection end up to the nozzle end. An optical fiber (6) is arranged in the optical fiber guiding channel. The optical fiber has an end characterized as a light entry side. The optical fiber is arranged in a region of the nozzle end such that light from the gas that is escaped and burnt at the nozzle end is incident into the fiber and guided to a remote sensor i.e. UV sensor. An independent claim is also included for a hand- or machine guided burner device.</p> |
