Disclosed is a fluorescent film containing an azobenzene derivative represented by the general formula (I) below and a binder. (In the general formula (I), R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or the like; Ar 1 and Ar 2 independently represent an optionally substituted arylene group or aromatic heterocyclic ring; X represents an alkylene group which may contain a heteroatom; X 1 represents -NH- or the like; Y represents a hydrogen atom or the like; a represents an integer of 0-2; m and n independently represent an integer of 1-8, and when m and n are integers of not less than 2, a plurality of Ar 1 's and Ar 2 's may be the same as or different from each other.)
