The invention relates to an illumination element (1) having at least one light source (2), at least two connections (4, 6) for supplying the light source with electrical power, and one support (10) for receiving the light source (2). According to the invention the light source (2) has a heat generating section (2a), and the support (10) contacts said heat generating section, wherein the support (10) is comprised of a thermally conducting plastic material and is configured such that the same at least partially dissipates the heat generated by the light source (2). |
