The invention relates to a LED module for general illumination for producing white light of a high quality and with good colour value reproduction. Said module comprises at least two luminescent-conversion-LEDs. The additive mixture of various light colours produces a white point that lies, as precise as possible, on Planck's curve. Advantageously, only LEDs of one sort, preferably blue LEDs, are used for exciting. The intensity of individual light colours can be adjusted by a separate control, in which at least one colour locus lies above Planck's curve and at least one colour locus lies below Planck's curve.
