PURPOSE:To make possible to prevent a traverser from moving to or traversing an end of a particular passage, by switching, during operation, a switch corresponding to said passage by an operator who is about to perform order picking operation. CONSTITUTION:A traverser 6 is provided with a console panel 12 which is provided with switches corresponding to passages 3A-3E. The traverser 6 now corresponds to the first passage 3A, and during the operation the fourth key switch has been changed-over. In this state, the traverser 6 can be moved freely for the first through the third passages 3A-3C based on the setting, and therefore a load delivering apparatus 4 can be operated at the passages 3A-3C. However, the traverser 6 is stopped for the fourth passage 3D, and therefore the traverser 6 cannot be operated for the fourth an fifth passages 3D, 3E. Accordingly, the order picking operation can be performed safely. |
