The seat system (1) has a seat (2) with a backrest (25) and a seat surface (21). A belt mounting (3) is provided with a belt at which the seat is hanged, particularly on a roof of a vehicle. The belt is rolled for lifting the seat by a rolling-up attachment (33) with a spring, particularly a spiral spring which activates the lifting of the seat. The seat is lowered by loading the seat with a weight of more than 50 kilograms. A locking element is, particularly arranged in the rolling-up attachment which locks the seat.
