LIGHT BEAM SCANNING TYPE IMAGE PROJECTION DEVICE

The problem to solve is to automatically prevent deterioration of a projected image when the quality of the image deteriorates as a result of replacement of the light source. The following light beam scanning type image projection device is a means for solving said problem. The light beam scanning type image projection device is equipped with multiple light sources that emit light beams with different wavelengths, a driving unit that modulates the intensity of each light beam according to an image signal, an optical axis matching means that matches the optical axis of each light beam, and a scanning means that scans each light beam. The optical axis matching means has multiple optical elements and an adjustment unit that adjusts the position and/or tilt of at least one of the optical elements. The means also has a detection means that detects deviation between the spot center of each light beam and a center reference spot, and a position adjustment means that controls the adjustment unit, adjusts the position and/or tilt of at least one of the optical elements of the optical matching means, and matches the optical axis of each light beam based on the detection result of the detection means.
