<p>Disclosed is an intramedullary nail that enables the positional relationship between a main body and engaging members to be adjusted and fixed to ensure the compatibility therebetween when a plurality of engaging members are used, and also disclosed is an intramedullary nail main body employed in the same. An intramedullary nail (9) comprises a rod-shaped intramedullary nail main body (10) which is introduced through an end of an elongate bone into the bone marrow and which has a plurality of through-holes (12), (14) that intersect the axis thereof, a main lag screw and secondary lag screw (22) serving as a plurality of engaging members able to be inserted into the through-holes (12), (14) respectively and engaged against the bone, and an adjustment member (11) for adjusting and fixing the position of the secondary lag screw (22), wherein the angle (?)formed with respect to the axis of the secondary lag screw (22) engaged against the bone is fixable and able to be adjusted by the shape of the secondary through-hole (14) and the adjustment member (11).</p> |
