<p>Process for manufacturing sinks or other similar articles and sink or similar article obtained by means of said process, comprising: painting the mould with a layer (1) of coating gel or the like, leaving it to dry for 20 minutes; painting the mould with a second layer (2) of gel or polyester and immediately covering it with aggregate material; after 30 minutes, removing the residual material which has not adhered; painting the counter-mould with a layer (3) of gel and leaving it to dry for 20 minutes; applying another layer (4) of glass-fibre-containing polyester resin and leaving it to dry for 30 minutes; once dried, joining the two parts of the mould together; filling with a filler (5) of polyester resin premixed with aggregate; applying a vacuum to the mouth or vibrating means; leaving it to harden for 6 hours before extracting from the mould.</p> |
