The system has at least one support (1) movable from an out-of-use position into an operating position, in which the foot and leg parts (3, 5) of a seat user are supported on at least one bearing surface. The respective support is held in the operating position by a fixing mechanism (15) extending at least partly into a floor space usable by the user of the rear of two seats in a row. The support releases the floor space in the out-of-use position. The support is essentially flexible and in the operating position at least partly follows a curved course and the fixing mechanism is attached to the front of two seats in a row. |
