When a number of video reproduction devices acquire video data from the same camera, the amount of distribution of the video data sometimes becomes not more than the amount of distribution expected by the users who use the video reproduction devices. Provided is a video reproduction device or a video distribution system capable of ensuring a video from a camera by the amount of distribution expected by a user. When a video reproduction device has requested the distribution of a new video to a camera, if the camera is already distributing a captured video to another video reproduction device and the sum of the distribution amount that the another video reproduction device is already distributing and the distribution request amount of the video reproduction device which has newly requested the distribution exceeds the video distribution capability of the camera, the video reproduction device which has newly requested the distribution requests the distribution to the video reproduction device which is already distributing, thereby acquiring the video captured by the camera from the video reproduction device which is already distributing.
