PURPOSE: An electric key box system is provided to improve security and safety by storing use record data of an entrance key to a main computer. CONSTITUTION: A main computer(10), a monitor(12), and an information register(15) are installed in a central control room or a managing office of an apartment, a building, an army unit, and a factory. A managing room, a guard room, or a separate storage place is electrically connected to the main computer, the monitor, and the information register. A key locking unit operates a key holder unit coupled with an entrance key according to a conducting state of a solenoid. The entrance key is safely stored to a key box(20), and is provided to an authenticated user. A user record data of the entrance key is stored to the main computer.
