ELASTOMER COMPOSITION AND TIRE USING THE ELASTOMER COMPOSITION

Disclosed is an elastomer composition with less environmental burden, which can be produced at low cost, and wherein a substance serving as an alternative raw material to an elastomer component is blended.  A tire using the elastomer composition is also disclosed.  The elastomer composition and the tire are characterized in that a residuum obtained in fermentation of organic matter is blended into an elastomer component.  The fermentation can be performed by an anaerobic fermentation process or an aerobic fermentation process.
