The invention relates to a transmission having continuously variable gear ratios between an input shaft (1) and an output shaft (2), said transmission comprising at least two pendulum arms (9) pivotally supported about an axis (10), which are caused to carry out uniform and alternating lifting movements (21), which overlap in the work cycles, by the rotation of the input shaft (1) and the cam disks (7) positively connected thereto, said movements being converted into the longitudinally variable back and forth movements of the two transmission elements (26) by means of two adjusting parts (15), which can be displaced along the pendulum arm adjusting travel (20), or by means of two pendulum arms (15), which can be displaced by the pendulum axis (10) along the pendulum arm adjusting travel (20), said alternate movements being transmitted at the two rotation direction-dependent clutches (27), where they in turn are converted into a continuous and uniform rotation of an output shaft (2), each pendulum arm (15) automatically canting under a work load with respect to the provided canting noses (18) in the pendulum arm pass-through (11). |
