METHOD FOR MANAGING THE QUALITY OF SERVICE IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The invention relates to a method for managing quality of service. The method includes, as novel features: a step for determining a representative parameter for a quality of service in the stationary portion of a first communication network; a step for verifying that at least one first predefined threshold has been reached by said parameter; and a step for changing a number of frames conveyed in a packet on said first network. A decrease in the throughput required of packets and a decrease in the header costs are thereby provided.
