PURPOSE:To obtain positive pole tablets for non water solution battery having high mechanical strength and dimensional accuracy by using montmorillonite as a dehydrating agent. CONSTITUTION:100 parts of manganese dioxide, 4 parts of graphite powder and montmorillonite added by 7% of water are mixed and kneaded by a kneader while being granulated and screened and taking 80-250 mesh portions for being press-molded into tablets. Next, these are dehydrated by heating for 2 hours at 380 deg.C. After cooling in a furnace, these are taken out into a dehumidificating atmosphere at 100-150 deg.C in order to obtain a positive pole material having high strength and dimensional accuracy. |
