<p>A method and an apparatus for the production of a rope ladder that includes the use of metallic clamping sockets (4) that fixedly connect into a single body two parallel running rope lengths (2a, 2b) at each side of the steps (1) of the ladder, wherein rope lengths (2a, 2b) pass through apertures (1a, 1b) of the side ends of the steps (1 ). Each metallic clamping socket (4) has an H- type section and comprises cavities (14a, 14b) wherein are imported the two parallel running rope lengths (2a, 2b) at each side of steps (1 ), thereafter the clamping socket (4) being pressed in a press assembly (17) in the form of a closed ellipse encaging and thereby fixedly connecting rope lengths (2a, 2b) into a single rigid rope member. The positioning of press assembly (17) can be regulated in a longitudinal and in a traverse direction along the workbench of the apparatus of the invention so that it may successively approach sequential clamping sockets (4) on the workbench to effect a closure operation of the same.</p> |
