A pneumatic tire is provided with a plurality of recesses (22) on the surface of each figure (21) in a first indication portion (20), and respective recesses (22) are so provided as to extend in the circumferential direction of the tire and arranged in a direction crossing the extending direction. One end side and the other end side of each recess (22) in the width direction are formed by a curved surface having a center of curvature on the outside in the width direction of the tire, whereby gradation of brightness occurs on the curved surface of each recess (22). Further, gradation of each recess (22) changes depending on the viewing direction or the light direction. Consequently, each figure (21) in the first indication portion (20) can be three-dimensionally viewed and becomes remarkable as compared with other portions of a sidewall (10).
