HOW TO DETECT LEAKAGE OF ELECTRICAL WIRE

PURPOSE: A method for detecting an electric leakage is provided to improve electricity consumption and operation reliability by detecting an electric leakage in a place in which an electric barbed-wire fence is installed. CONSTITUTION: A large capacity capacitor(C) is connected between a ground(GND) and E of an L2 side of a high voltage transformer. A DC voltage(VD) is applied to both ends of the capacitor through a resistor(R) for voltage drop. A virtual resistor(RL) is generated between the barbed-wire fence and the ground in an electric leakage state of a barbed-wire fence(H) and the ground. An leakage current(IL) is generated in the electric leakage state of the ground and the barbed-wire fence. A voltage(VC) of both ends of the capacitor is dropped by the resistor for the voltage drop according to a flow of the leakage current. An electric leakage state is detected by detecting the voltage of both ends of the capacitor lower than the DC voltage.
