PURPOSE:To obtain a high-refractive index plastic lens with excellent abrasion resistance and less surface reflection by providing a hardened layer of silicone resin on the surface of a specified copolymerized resin having a high refractive index, and further providing an antireflection layer consisting of an inorganic substance on the surface layer thereof. CONSTITUTION:(A) a compd. expressed by formula I (R<1> and R<2> are -O-CH2CH2-, -O-CH2CH2CH2-, etc., X is halogen other than fluorine, (a) and (b) are 1-4, and (m) and (n) are 0-4) such as 2,2-bis(4-allyloxycarbonyloxy-3,5-dichlorophenyl) propane and (B) a compd. expressed by formula II such as diallyl ortho-phthalate are copolymerized. Then a hardened layer of silicone resin is provided on the surface of the obtained copolymerized resin, and an antireflection layer consisting of an inorganic substance such as ZrO2 is formed on the surface layer thereof to obtain the desired high-refractive index plastic lens. |
