PURPOSE:To use one liquid crystal display device as a device for additional in- formation printing which faces the reverse surface, and to confirm additional information to be copied visually from the top surface of one liquid crystal display device by arranging liquid crystal display device on both surfaces of a printed board. CONSTITUTION:The additional information printing device A which has the liquid crystal devices 1 and 1' on both top and reverse surfaces is provided under a scale plate 7 and the outside of one end part of platen glass 6, and a window which is large enough to confirm the entire display on the liquid crystal device 1' of the additional information printing device A from the top surface is formed in the scale plate 7 over the additional information printing device A and sealed with a transparent acrylic material, etc. Therefore, an operator confirms directly the contents of information being printed at present from the display on the liquid crystal display device 1' on the top surface of the additional information printing device A through the window 8 of the scale plate 7.
