<p>Disclosed is an austenitic stainless steel which is excellent in intergranular corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance. This austenitic stainless steel consists of not more than 0.005 wt% of C, not more than 0.5 wt% of Si, not more than 0.5 wt% of Mn, not more than 0.005 wt% of P, not more than 0.005 wt% of S, 15.0-40.0 wt% of Ni, 20.0-30.0 wt% of Cr, not more than 0.01 wt% of N, not more than 0.01 wt% of O and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities. The unavoidable impurities contains not more than 3 wt ppm of B.</p> |
