PURPOSE: A solar collector manufacturing method and a solar collector manufactured thereby are provided to form a metal deposition layer on a polished reflecting surface. CONSTITUTION: A stainless steel plate is cut in order to form a concave processing surface(S10). A reflecting surface of the fixed radius having a parabola formed on the concave processing surface is made by pressing the cut stainless steel plate in a cutting step(S20). The reflecting surface of the stainless plate shaped is trained in a forming step(S30). The metal material is vaporized on the reflecting surface in order to form a metal deposition layer to enhance the reflectivity of the reflecting surface(S40). A protective film is coated on the metal deposition layer formed on the reflecting surface(S50).
