The self-healing electrically conductive cable (11) comprises a conductive part (2) and an insulating part (1) surrounding the conductive part. The insulating part is formed by an insulating monolayer incorporating micro-elements. The micro-elements contain a polymerizable compound so that the polymerizable compound polymerizes a rupture of micro-elements. The polymerizable compound is a compound formed by a polymerizable resin, a polymerization initiator and molecules of fatty acids. The polymerization initiator is a hardener and/or a catalyst. The self-healing electrically conductive cable (11) comprises a conductive part (2) and an insulating part (1) surrounding the conductive part. The insulating part is formed by an insulating monolayer incorporating micro-elements. The micro-elements contain a polymerizable compound so that the polymerizable compound polymerizes a rupture of micro-elements. The polymerizable compound is a compound formed by a polymerizable resin, a polymerization initiator and molecules of fatty acids. The polymerization initiator is a hardener and/or a catalyst. The catalyst is ambient air or ambient temperature. The micro-elements are distributed uniformly in bulk in the insulating monolayer in the form of long fibers aligned in the longitudinal direction of the cable, short fibers and microspheres.
