<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax a restriction on a positional relation and to transmit an electric power efficiently by using an electrostatic field. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission system includes a power supplying apparatus and a power receiving apparatus. The power supplying apparatus includes a first resonator which includes an alternating-current signal generator to generate an alternating-current signal and an induction component and/or a capacity component, and resonates the alternating-current signal generated by the alternating-current signal generator, and with a power supplying electrode which radiates the resonated alternating-current signal to the outside as a potential difference in the electrostatic field. The power receiving apparatus includes a second resonator which includes a power receiving electrode to generate an electric signal by sensing a potential difference in the electrostatic field and the induction component and/or the capacity component, and with a rectifier which generates a direct-current power by converting the resonated electric signal into a direct-current signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
