<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed tray capable of preventing a paper sheet guide from being freely expanded by the vibration while feeding paper sheets. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The paper sheet tray includes a paper sheet guide which is provided on a tray body movably in the direction orthogonal to the paper feed direction, a rack 10b extending in the direction orthogonal to the paper feed direction, and moved together with the paper sheet guide, a pinion 11b to be engaged with the rack 10b, a one-way clutch 15 which is idled when the pinion 11b is rotated in the narrowing direction of the paper sheet guide, and the pinion 11b is rotated in the expanding direction of the paper sheet guide, and a friction pad 13b interposed between the pinion 11b and the one-way clutch 15.
