<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament winding device capable of quickly and accurately detecting fiber sliding, and winding a fiber bundle on a predetermined design path. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The filament winding device 1 photographs the fiber bundle F delivered from a delivery means 22 to a winding object member W with a camera 25, detects widening or cracks of the fiber bundle F from an image 31 of the fiber bundle F to be photographed, and determines whether or not the fiber sliding is generated in the fiber bundle F. The fiber sliding can be quickly and accurately determined thereby.
