The crash energy absorbing arrangement has a galvanic cell (2) positioned in a crash direction of a subframe (1). Deformation elements (3a,3b) are provided for introduction of crash energy between the galvanic cell and the subframe. The galvanic cell, deformation elements and the subframe are designed such that a twist of the galvanic cell counter-acting load path (F1,F1') is formed during a crash.
