<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a control method capable of performing a high precise detecting operation to detect an area where a vehicle sinks with a less number of detector devices. <P>SOLUTION: This control device comprises another control device for controlling a vehicle, a detector device for detecting a vehicle sinking in water, a memory part for storing relative fixing positions of another control device and the detector in respect to the vehicle from each other, an input part for use in inputting a transmitting signal outputted from the control device and a detecting signal outputted from the detector device, and an executing part for performing both an abnormal state judgement process to judge whether or not an abnormal state occurs during communication with the control device in response to the transmitting signal inputted through the input part and a detecting process to detect the control device sunk in water in reference to the fixing positions stored by the memory part while being correlated with the control device judged as an abnormal state through the abnormal state judgement process and the fixing position of the detector when the input part inputs the detecting signal. According to this invention, it is possible to perform a precise detection of water sinking area with a less number of detector devices because the judgement is made whether or not occurrence of the abnormal state in communications with another control device is dependent on the water sinking, by the relative fixing positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
