PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video source unit free from the generation of discoloration and having excellent light resistance, to provide an optical sheet, and to provide a video display device.

SOLUTION: The video source unit 10 includes: a video source 10a emitting an video by selfillumination or by being matched with the other light source; and an optical sheet 10b with a plurality of layers arranged at the side of an observer from the video source, controlling light from the video source and capable of emitting the light to the side of the observer. The optical sheet includes: an optical functional sheet layer 17 having prism parts 18 arranged along the sheet face so as to transmit light and formed by an ultraviolet curing resin; and light absorbing parts 19 arranged so as to absorb light among the prism parts; and a layer 23 arranged at the side opposite to the video source side of the optical function sheet layer and comprising an ultraviolet absorption agent.
