<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel casing for an underground structure installable without positioning each projection when an inner tube body is attached to an outer tube body, simple is structure, and enabling the inner tube body to be easily formed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This casing 1 for an underground structure comprises the outer tube body 2 having an inner peripheral surface 13 in which a female screw section 15 is formed and the inner tube body 3 having an outer peripheral surface on which a male screw section 30 screwed with the female screw section 15 of the outer tube body 2 is formed. The casing further comprises: a ring support section 36 projecting from the inner peripheral surface 35 of the inner tube body 3 in the center direction; a through-hole or a cutout 38 formed in the inner tube body 3; a fixed ring 4 which is disposed under the ring support section 36 and formed annularly and which has, on the outer peripheral surface, a projection 45 inserted into the through-hole or the cutout 38 and screwed with the female screw section 15; and a lifting means 5 which is disposed on the ring support section 36 and which lifts the fixed ring 4 relative to the ring support section 36, and which presses the female screw section 15 against the ring support section by the cooperation of the projection 45 and the male screw section 30.
